I snuck a peek at VJET today, it is up to 35.43, which is 60% above what I paid for it. Clearly my sale at $24 and change was more than premature. Oh well, at least I am now a net gainer in the IPO market this year.
In reading weekend stuff, I saw where Barron's wrote a very negative story about QCOR. That was the reason I sold, as I was concerned about their sales practices.
It is stunning, my portfolios continue to just trek along. One keeps waiting for a drop at some point, but not today. In what was a flat day for the market, I was up 75 basis points. GTAT was the big gainer, but KLIC and GNW made me a few shekels as well.
RIG Added to S&P 500
I mentioned last week that if I were to buy a single stock for my kids' college funds today, it would be RIG They just seem like a great long term story. Today I saw where they are going to replace DELL in the S&P 500 (Transocean to replace Dell in S&P 500). That will be good news for me tomorrow. RIG has become my 7th largest holding as I have been incrementally adding shares. They are up almost 4% this evening.
