Great news this morning for LPS, which is in my 11/15/12 MFI tranche. The WSJ announced that Thomas Lee along with Fidelity National plan to make a bid that would equal $33 a share. That is about a 13% premium to where they are trading today and is 39% above what I paid for them in Novemebr. So the trend is really starting to gather steam of MFI outperforming once again. I would be thrilled to see that!
I did have a moment of weakness and sold my SLW (which I owned about a week in my dividend portfolio) on Tuesday. I made about four percent, but it is looking like a mistake (I got 22.36 plus my 12 cent dividend). So I am sitting in 26% cash as the markets teetered a bit yesterday with Bernanke's remarks.
