My portfolios are all doing well. I am not getting "rich" but I am on a slow to steady path on becoming The Richest Man In Babylon.
Dividend Portfolio
This continues to be my slacker portfolio. It has been hurt by some ill-timed buys of metal/mining companies and other stocks that were a bit interest-rate sensitive getting dinged with the 100 basis point jump in the 10 year. But I am ok with that. My dividend portfolio is there to begin the building of my income stream for retirement (still more than a few years away!) and I am building a larger and larger income stream and reinvesting dividends. So the portfolio is serving it's purpose.

MFI Portfolio
All I can say is "wow". I am glad that I jumped back into MFI after my one year hiatus.

I think as I count down to the first tranche's "birthday", I will say a few words about each security.
Discretionary Portfolio
This portfolio continues to carry a lot of water for the team. Except for KLIC, they are all doing very well.
Stock | Gain | Cost | Price |
GNW | 85.4% | 7.10 | 13.17 |
GTAT | 46.3% | 3.39 | 4.96 |
4.0% | 12.75 | 13.26 | |
-0.2% | 11.15 | 11.13 | |
Grand Total | 41.4% | 6.40 | 9.04 |
GNW continues to be a monster stock for me. It has worked it's way back to my #2 holding again (behind AAPL and ahead of CSCO), despite my selling 30% of my shares on 5/16 (it has rocketed 21% since my sale).
Overall
So this recent burst has pulled my back ahead of the benchmarks for the year. I am now up 21.3%, which is certainly WAY beyond my wildest expectations at the start of the year when everyone was focused on the Fiscal Cliff.
Have a great weekend everyone!
