New Mechanical Stocks - 10/1/2010

A few new names made the list this weekend:

  • GTIV - this is another of the many nursing home type companies to make the list (like AFAM and AMED). They were the ones that just bought ODSY (and in hindsight likely overpaid) so I am not a fan.
  • NEP - Another of the plethora of smaller Chinese hybrids that seem oh so cheap. They are an oil and gas play in China. They actually interest me, but I am trying to stick to my strategy of buying MFI stocks with dividends.
  • PSDV - they look like another of those bio tech companies that get a one time special payment and hit the charts. These some times have worked out, but generally too speculative for my blood.
