One stock I bought recently was AIRV, which has been on the list for some time. What I like about the stock is the exposure to wireless communications, which seems like an area with still a ton of room for growth as smartphones become more commonplace.
I listened to their presentation on June 9th. They were very bullish about their relationships with wireless carriers. I believe they said that about 90% of their revenues are recurring, so they have great predictability and visibility. They did talk about the bankruptcy of Nortel and the impact on them. The interesting thing about the NT bankruptcy is that AIRV fully believes they will get the $36m they are owed by NT (but doesn't show up in receivables) by early next year. If they get that amount, it'll be like the icing on the cake as they look pretty good even without that.
AIRV also had an interesting press release during Happy Hours on Friday where they comment on the assumption by (Airvana Comments on Proposed Sale of Nortel's CDMA Business) Nokia-Siemens of the Nortel business. They basically say "Nortel’s proposed sale of its CDMA business is positive news for Airvana and for Nortel’s customers,". Hopefully that will be good for ye ole stock price (currently at $5.89).
