Weekend Update - Go Hoosiers!

There is hardly anything more Americana than the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.  Everyone picks their brackets.  We take long lunches during the first week and sneak peeks at scores day and night.  Always a Cinderella team or two.  Can you say Florida Gulf Coast?  Harvard?  Great stuff. 

I am, of course, rooting for my Indiana Hoosiers.  I am even kicking around the idea of zipping down to DC next week if we beat Temple tomorrow.  We'll see.  It is Easter weekend, my Fam may have different ideas.

Not much new during the past week.  My portfolio continues to track in 2013 very closely with the broader markets.  I am still sitting with a chunk of cash, so I guess I remain a bit defensive.  We will see what happens after April 15th.  I have noted many years that markets go up until then and when people have funded and invested their IRAs, we start having a pullback.  I did add FSYS this week as a discretionary pick.
