Happy Sidecar

well, as mentioned yesterday I sold ALDA out of my sidecar. It was a day early I suppose as it spiked another 9% today, but hard to complain about a 12% gain in 2 weeks. I suspect something is up with ALDA, stocks don't rise 25% on now news unless there is some whispering going around.

Today I sold TRLG from my sidecar as it went up about 7%. Then I saw where ASPV had a very nice earnings report tonight (UPDATE - TABLE-Aspreva Q4 earnings rise). Soon it might just be HW in my sidecar! I guess I'll be scouring MFI stocks looking for new sidecar possibilities.

On possibility I may have missed was VCI which spiked up 10% today (Valassis Reports Revenues of $1.044 Billion for the Year) on a good earnings report. I'll be looking at the report in some depth, I am still considering VCI as a stock for my MFI portfolio later in the month. Finally PACR must have had a poor earnings report (Pacer 4Q profit edges up) as it is down about 6% AH. Can't win them all. Actually, if it fell enough I might have a new sidecar candidate.

I have to say that my Blue Light Special portfolio is really cooking.
