Watching my stock charts sometimes feels like Kasey Kasum and the top 50 songs of the week. Yes, I know that shows my age. I remember when MTEX was my best song. TGIS at another time. MGLN had a great run. Ah yes, those were the days. Even TRLG was a near top stock at one time.Lately it has been UST & PNCL battling for the #1 slot. ASEI & VPHM have been zipping up lately. PGI went up about 9% on Friday on news that an outside party wants seats on the board (Activist fund says plans proxy bid at Premiere). Can't get too complacent!
OVTI was crushed on Friday. This bad boy is now down 51% for me. I did add it to my side car at $13.75 yesterday. We'll see how that works. I did have seller's regret on my sale of CLE earlier this week. They spiked up $1.55 Friday as they announced they were willing to be bought (Claire's On The Block). At this rate, pretty soon hedge funds will own everything (though will be in tremendous debt).
Later next week I will update my 1/2/3 rankings from the end of September. They are turning out to be quite insightful. I think the "1"s are up anout 15%, the "2s" are up about 8% and the "3s" are down about 5%. I know, I know... probably just lucky.
