I did sell my NSS today, both in my retirement account and in my MFI portfolio. I have added VPHM to my MFI portfolio as it was down about 5% today. Then I bought FTO at $27.49 in my IRA account as a ST play thinking it is underpriced. We'll see.
A little bit about my newest holding, VPHM. I have been watching it for several months. I did want to add a pharma to my portfolio as I like the LT trend on pharmas with Uncle Sam helping seniors with drugs. VPHM is up about 30% in the past 4 weeks, but they are down a ton at $11.77 from over $20 earlier this year. Analysts expect them to earn $1.10 in 2007 and grow revenues 18%. Seems good for a stock under $12.
Besides NSS, it was a pretty poor day for my portfolio. But the NSS pop did allow my MFI portfolio to gain a little ground.
