Day 1

I know the first day of a new tranche doesn't really matter as this is a 365 day marathon.  Still always nice to start on the right foot.  My five stocks were up 2.8% on day 1. Ironically, the old portfolio was down 1.4%, so pretty big swing going from one to the other. I'd like to say I planned it that way.... But it was luck.

The Russell 3000 was up 60 basis points (I mark it at the time I make majority of my purchases).  Here is the tranche:
