Waiting at the airport, about to head home. At least this year I did not have any major injuries. Instead of skiing, I went snow shoeing, which was actually quite fun.
Another strong week, up over 1% and up 5.5% on the year. It seems like most of my transactions are working - though I am certainly less active than 2014. I have already posted several times this week, so I will keep it brief this morning. I was a bit surprised at how much BRCD and IPCM sold off post-earnings on Friday. Clearly expectations were higher than official analyst estimates.
MFI Select
After a stretch where all the tranches have been trailing the benchmark, we made a strong move to the hoop this week. The May tranche is now in a dead heat and February has moved ahead:

That 24.86 percentage point lead is a marked jump from last week's mark of 21.96%. So things certainly going in the right direction. You can see how strong the month has been as the notional value jumped from 162,833 to 175,470 since 2/1.
MFI Formula
Not as strong a showing here. It wasn't a "bad" week, but I did lose a little ground. The "formula" approach is still working very well. Soon I will start my own hedge fund using this!

So you can see my tranches are up 5.7% versus 2.6% for the benchmark. Keep in mind I only have two tranches going thus far, so a 3 point lead is really a 6 point lead on open positions. April 1st will be here before we know it and I'll get #3 off and running.
