It is an appropriate theme for my MFI portfolio as it does seem to be breaking on through. Not just pour moi. I also see the tracking portfolios starting to pick up some momentum. I have always preached that MFI portfolios were streaky; perhaps we are starting to get on the right side of the streak.
My portfolio of 15 stocks via three tranches is now beating the indices by 50 basis points. I know that is not much. Nowhere close to what the book discussed. But after 2+ years of under-performance, it feels tremendous!
