Good morning from the Sweetest Place on Earth. Despite a so-so week in the markets (mostly self-inflicted), we are going to have a nice (though likely crowded) day at Hersheypark. As we turn the calendar to August, it is time to spend some quality time with the fam.
We are now 7/12 through the year and I am still beating the market in aggregate, though my lead has narrowed. I am up 8.4% whilst the R3K is up 7.6%. My hedging has hurt, but I am ok with that - I'd be happy to end the year at 8.4%. Also I did a speculative buy on WDC before earnings and it dropped 10%. Bad move.
