Weekend Update 2/6/16

Weekend Update

What a crummy week. I frankly am in no mood to talk about stocks.  Just been such a struggle lately.  I know it is a marathon, not a sprint. I know I am still a net buyer of stocks, so drops in prices right now are technically good  for me. But there is something very depressing about seeing your net worth decrease.

The smartest thing I bought in the past two years was the most boring: NTC.  I guess the takeaway is that boring can be good. I will continue to stay the course. I am buying BAC warrants on the dips and on the dips after the dips.  I tell myself I will be happy in 2019 - but with less confidence than I felt two or three years ago.

I am showing this table first.  It is a bit of a puke table.  On 12/1 I was at $223,435 - now I am $181,081. That is a 19% drop in 2+ months.

MFI Formula

All I will say is that I am outperforming on a relative basis, but that does not make me happy.
