My November MFI tranche has about a month to go. At one point this was a great tranche, but is has struggled of late as VNCE, VEC, LCI and PPC have sold off. This would have been a great tranche to have sold 100% in August. At that time it was up 26%, now it is up 6%. A breathtaking drop in 6 weeks.
11/15/2015 | Start | Current | Dividend | Pct Gain | R3K Gain |
LCI | $34.01 | $25.05 | $0.00 | -26.3% | 6.2% |
SAVE | $34.48 | $42.17 | $0.00 | 22.3% | 6.2% |
PPC | $18.98 | $20.92 | $2.75 | 24.7% | 6.2% |
VEC | $23.60 | $16.58 | $0.00 | -29.7% | 6.2% |
VNCE | $3.99 | $5.59 | $0.00 | 40.1% | 6.2% |
Totals | 6.2% | 6.2% |
Stock Ideas
I will likely add/take away from this list. But here are some stocks I am thinking about. This is my highest valued tranche, so a bad basket would hurt my overall results disproportionately.
- AVID
- CAH
- GILD
- MCK
- MBUU
- MPAA
- MSGN
- RECN
- SSNI
- TGNA
Many of these names have some warts. Right now RECN, SSNI and TGNA are near top of my list. Stay tuned.
