What a week for my portfolio! I sure did not see this coming. I was up 5.3% just for the week. That makes me up a very respectable 7.7% for the year. Of course it helped having one of my largest holdings, REXI, spiking 50% on Monday. But that was only about 2 points of my weekly gain. Everything else clicked as well.
I am in Wilkes-Barre PA, on my way to a weekend in Pittsburgh. With the good week in the markets, I upgraded to a Hilton Garden Inn! Living the life.

It was a good week here. I was up about 2%. My newest tranche is off to a nice 5% start. Before I hurt myself trying to pat my own back, it is sometimes about a nice tail wind. For instance the 5 stocks I sold from the May 2015 tranche are up 10% already (sadly I sold them) as PSDV spiked 24% yesterday and DEPO is up 31% since the sale. And then the 5 stocks I did not buy are up 4.5% so far. So I really could not lose.

But you can see the huge move here week over week. It was up 9.5% and is now 17.1%. And it wasn't just REXI. BAC and SJT made nice moves during the week as well. I think I will just show with REXI for a while.
