Marsh,
My head is still hurting with 40% of your portfolio in 3 names (GME, CA, BKE). Looking at the June 27 2014 tracking portfolio you had NUS, PDLI, COH, RGR, CPLA, AND KING that did not perform well and lost money.
Is there something in your 8 years of data that suggest that this will work over time?
John - not sure I understand the question. I have posted many, many times here how a dividend approach combined with MFI going back to 2006 outperforms. And if you use the larger dividend stocks, it does even better. Can I guarantee it will work in the future? Of course not.
Is there more risk in being concentrated? Of course there is. But I am viewing this as a multi year approach, and I believe that the downsides from being concentrated overtime will be more than offset by the upsides.
Thanks.
