Got a new coffee maker yesterday. My Mr Coffee had been starting to leak, so I upgraded. Yet to make my first cup, I'll let you know (ZUTTO® Coffee Maker EC-DAC50 - Zojirushi).
Other news, I have joined a local YMCA and started playing full court basketball for first time in 20 years. While I am very sore and winded at the end, it is a sport I truly love. There is something about full court basketball - it is such a great team sport. You have to communicate, you have to help each other, you set screens and make assists - I was inspired by listening to the radio about how President Obama still plays basketball (The Audacity of Hoop: Basketball and the Age of Obama).
It was another solid week, helped by a great Friday. I gained 87 basis points and am now up 1.7% of the year.

The May tranche continues to be terrible, not sure what can possibly fix that. But the November tranche is doing just great. And the February tranche is already up 7.2%. PERI reports this week, so hopefully that will take it up further.

Gained a bit on last week, still down in 2016. BAC is largest holding and has struggled. But It is a long term play and I feel good about it. REXI has been on a tear of late, I am still very bullish about REXI.
I am happy I sold my FSC at about $6.50 and bought the JQC. FSC is now under $5.
Other Stocks
GNW is my other sizable holding. I did buy a large stake at around $2.40 and it is now $2.80. This stock has been a loser over the years for me, but I did but such a big stake at $2.40 (buy share count) that if we just get back to $3.50 I will have profited from GNW.
Have a great weekend everybody.
