Last week I was looking at all the beaten down MFI stocks. I have to say there is no shortage of choices. I decided to buy additional
IAR last Thursday, but not as an official MFI stock. More as a Dhandho Investor kind of thing. I ended up getting the shares at $14.72.
I had given all the choices a great deal of thought. Here are some of the advantages of IAR:
- It is not a super small cap stock (2.2b).
- They have very steady earnings
- They are a boring business
- They are dirt cheap
- They pay a great dividend (9.4%)
- Barron's had written that they were worth the risk around $19
I do have to say I am a little tired of getting kicked around by the market. Here is hoping that things pick up a little but. Certainly due.
