Out with the old. In with the new. I have started a new MFI Formula tranche today as I just hit the anniversary date of the old one.
I will provide tables below, but here are some statistics regarding the tranche from last year. It ended up being down 4.0% versus -7.2% for the benchmark.
As my readers know, I pick the five stock via a formula and a random number generator. So it is very easy to see how the stocks the the random number generator excluded performed. They were down on par with the market at -7%. CSCO and DIN were surprisingly good. But CJREF and PBI were horrible.

I already owned all these stocks in other portfolios... that is pretty typical for MFI Formula as I think there were 15 or 16 names.
