Earnings - CCME and FLL

Well, off to a roaring start on quarterly earnings today. I will start with

The Good

FLL - my little casino company that could just keeps making money (Full House Resorts Announces EPS of $0.12 and $0.32 for the Three and Nine Months Periods Ended September 30, 2010). The headline kind of says it all. They have made 32 cents of very steady earnings through the 1st 3 quarters. I suspect you can pro-rate that to about 44 cents for the year. This is a stock trading at $3.85, with $17.5 million of cash and no debt and a $66m market cap. Still cheap, cheap, cheap.

The Excellent

CCME - while I am not qualified to give stock advice, I hope a couple of you bought CCME after seeing me mention them and of course doing your own research. They made 81 cents a share (56 cents a year ago) (China MediaExpress Holdings, Inc. Announces Third Quarter Financial Results) and have now earned $1.86 for 9 months (vs $1.31 a year ago). I think you can pretty much at the bare minimum add the 81 cents in the 4th quarter so the year will be about $2.70. Then add in $170m in cash (keep in mind this is a stock trading around $21 and a $700m market cap). They were in my top 20 on Sunday, with these earnings and even with a nice pop today, CCME still looks relatively cheap as well.

The Day

With strong earnings from CCME and FLL, my purchase of NEP paying instant dividends (already up 8%) and NEWN spiking almost 18% (in part perhaps this favorable article commenting about how NEWN may benefit from Apple {A Stealth Tech Play}), I was up another 2.9% today.

So since 6/28 when I made my transformational move, I am up 34.4% vs 13.8% for the Russell 3000. It is extremely tempting to start taking some $ off the table. But I will stay the course for the time being. I think a few of my stocks are "fairly" valued (PM, CEL, UNTD and RAI). But many of them still have room to go up (CEU, CCME, EESC, TTT, NEP, STRA for example).
