Just a week ago I wrote about how the first two months were off to a good start for MFI. The wheels came off a bit last week. I don't even understand why MFI stocks in general were more beaten up.
Here are the 50 stocks in my MFI Index for the week. As you can see, down 6.1% on average while the Russell 3000 was down just 2.7%. I know, depressing. Hopefully just a short term aberration.

I was not much different, down 5.1% for my MFI holdings on the week (down 4.6% overall).
I also started a MFI > 3b tracking portfolio last FRiday. It was down 4.1% on the week.
MFI Tracking
Here is another way to look at recent struggles. Here is a table showing my 11 open MFI Tracking portfolios as of 2/26/19:
| 3/29/2018 | 1.3% |
| 4/27/2018 | -2.9% |
| 5/25/2018 | -4.7% |
| 6/29/2018 | -4.1% |
| 7/27/2018 | -3.3% |
| 8/31/2018 | -6.4% |
| 9/28/2018 | -6.8% |
| 10/26/2018 | 2.4% |
| 11/30/2018 | 2.4% |
| 12/31/2018 | 15.5% |
| 1/25/2019 | 5.6% |
So you can see in aggregate they're basically flat. Now move the clock forward two weeks:
| 3/29/2018 | -2.7% |
| 4/27/2018 | -6.1% |
| 5/25/2018 | -9.4% |
| 6/29/2018 | -8.9% |
| 7/27/2018 | -8.5% |
| 8/31/2018 | -11.1% |
| 9/28/2018 | -11.9% |
| 10/26/2018 | -2.9% |
| 11/30/2018 | -3.8% |
| 12/31/2018 | 7.8% |
| 1/25/2019 | -2.4% |
| 2/26/2019 | -7.2% |
That is shocking. Basically a 7 point drop since 2/26. Sometimes I feel like pulling out the little hair I have left!
