Rearranging Dividend Portfolio

I have made a change in my dividend portfolio this week.  I sold RILY, which was a great stock for me.  It was always a stretch as dividend stock as yield was/is relatively low.  I was up about 40% and CEO announced he was adding shares.  The spike on his adding was too much to resist.

I moved about 75% of the proceeds into NS, which has frankly been one of my worst dividend stocks, down about 28% in 2018.  I feel the bad news is behind it (they cut their dividend) and they have announced merger with General Partner.

They have a 10% dividend, so I certainly increased overall yield with the switch.  The other interesting tidbit on NS is that ETE did approach them in early March about being bought out.  Nothing came of it, but that likely sets a floor under their price.
