Regular readers know I have created an MFI Index. This is a grouping of 50 MFI stocks that I reconstitute once a year. I have been tracking my MFI Index since 2006.
While in total, the MFI Index has trailed the Russell 3000 (the benchmark I use), it is doing great so far in 2018. It is up a staggering 17.5%. That is more than double the results of the benchmark.
Here is a table showing all 50 stocks in my index and how they've done in 2018. Note that cumulative dividends are just added to current price:

I think a big reason for success so far is very few stinker stocks (those down 30% or more). Only 2: CJREF and CNCE. Over time, it has been more in the 12 to 16% range (so 6 to 8 out of 50). ABCD is the biggest winner. BIVV has been bought. PCOA and ESRX are also in process of being bought/going away.
