Regression
Well, you knew it had to happen sooner or later. The way my portfolio had been outperforming, a regression to the mean was due. We were down about 4.5%, way outpacing the broader indices, down about 2.5%. It didn't help that CDII announced they were raising $ by selling more stock at $1.85 at the same time the stock opened at $2.24 (InPlay: China Direct to raise $5 mln in registered direct offering; to sell 2,702,704 shares of common stock at $1.85/share). So that caused a quick 18% slide. One of my newest stocks, VM was down almost 16%. Not sure why it slid so far. Then ICO was down about 10%... all-in-all not a good day... but not unexpected.
